Who is CFA?

The Cancer Fund of America, Inc. was founded 9 October 1987 by James T. Reynolds and two volunteers under the laws of incorporation in the state of Delaware. Jim started work with one of the major cancer charities on 1 February 1971 and retired in 1984. In March 1984 he formed the Cancer Association of Tennessee to raise funds to assist cancer victims in Tennessee. After forming Cancer Fund of America, Inc. the volunteer board of directors of both organizations voted to merge the two into one national organization. Therefore Cancer Fund of America's roots are traced to 23 March 1984, making it the oldest national cancer organization having its primary mission of providing products to the cancer victim and their family with no emphasis placed on research.
