Cancer Fund of America's mission differs greatly from most because its principle mission is to provide aid to the ill and needy. As stated in our governing documents, CFA's overriding purpose is outlined in the mission statement:
"To
provide support and services to financially indigent patients; to disseminate
information concerning the early detection and prevention of cancer;
to provide commodities, and gifts-in-kind to hospices and other health
care providers; to procure and distribute donated merchandise to various
501-(c)-(3) nonprofit community service organizations which aid the
ill, needy, and infants."
Our Message
"One Day at a Time" is the life style of not only the victims of cancer but their loved ones as well.
Never in history has so many been afflicted with a disease as devastating to a family, their relationships and dependency to one another, as cancer. We find we truely are "our brothers keeper" and we do need to care for each other, as we are all part of one another in the family of humanity.
Our mission is one of caring.
Our goal is to help relieve the financial burden
upon the family and individuals with cancer by providing various products.
Our hope is that one day research unlocks the hidden
mysteries for a cure for all cancers.

Most insurance payments, including Medicare and Medicaid, fall short of the money needed to cover the cost of basic needs during cancer care.
There is much excellent cancer research being conducted that will hopefully bring the cure. That promise, however, is in the future. Millions of people are suffering both physically and financially from the ravages of this dreaded disease right now...today!
Cancer Fund of America's Mission Statement stipulates that CFA's primary purpose is to render assistance to those victims of this dreaded disease...those for whom research is too late. The need for this service is apparent in the increasing numbers of requests CFA receives daily from patients, families of patients, hospice organizations, and other health care professionals. CFA concentrates its efforts on patient care assistance rather than research.
A $100 donation to the Cancer Fund of America can result in approximately $300 in products for our cancer patients. This 3 to 1 ratio is due to our ability to purchase in volume.
All deliveries to patients, hospice, and other health care providers are always free of charge, including shipping.
