After 41 years working in the non profit area of fighting cancer, I am grateful for the progress that has been made in our country. I am, however, saddened for the hundreds of thousands of our neighbors who cannot afford to take advantage of these great successes.

 

I sincerely believe that one of the main purposes here on this earth is to love and serve our neighbor.

 

I have heard it said: "When all is said and done and our time on earth is over, the only thing we leave behind is the good we have done for others."

 

I am honored to be part of an organization that has adopted as its primary mission "Helping today for a Brighter Tomorrow."

 

My prayers are always for those we serve and for funds to expand our services to others. I try to follow a quote by Abraham Lincoln "I pray as if everything depended on God, and then I work as if everything depended on Abraham Lincoln."
